| At the core – the WIESE rubber chain |
quiet, grease-free, no elongation, no metallic abrasion, free of corrosion, suitable for food products, long service lives, runs without slipping, no joints
The key drive element in every WIESE conveyor is the rubber chain.
Outline |
Tension members are pre-tensioned, vulcanised inside steel cords. |
The upper block connects the buckets to the rubber chains. |
The lower block provides the slip-free link to the drive wheel. |
Available as black types (Neoprene-CR, EPDM, HNBR or NR/SBR), or in a light quality (NBR-Perbunan) suitable for food products. |
Can be vulcanised at any length as an endless ring, or closed with link joints. |
Benefits |
Rubber chain needs no further tensioning over its entire service life. No elongations. |
Runs without vibrations or slipping and is low noise (under 65 dBA.) |
Rubber is resistant to chemicals, neutral and requires no greasing. |
Low on abrasion, because no friction occurs. |
The chain is free of corrosion, suitable for food products, has no joints and has a long service life. |
Similarly to belt conveyors, it can be repaired by vulcanising on site. |
Can be supplied as a conductive or antistatic type in accordance with ATEX. |
The plant’s own lab inspects the material. Raw material is inspected in the on- site laboratory |
The finished rubber chains are subjected to mechanical tests. |
Usage |
The rubber chains are used successfully in continuous bucket conveyors, pendulum bucket conveyors and grid belts. |
Ideal for bulk goods: from abrasive to sensitive products.
